Culpepper and Associates, a leading provider of compensation survey data and consulting services, has a career opportunity for an Inside Sales Account Manager in Alpharetta, GA.

We are looking for a talented and motivated sales professional to join our team and sell compensation solutions to our growing base of business customers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Sell compensation survey data, analytics, and market pricing services to new and existing business accounts via email, telephone, and web conferencing.
  • Qualify inbound leads, conduct needs-based consultation, propose solutions, present online demonstrations, and close sales opportunities.
  • Leverage strategic marketing programs and a proprietary database of prospects to solicit new sales opportunities from target and key accounts.
  • Review survey participation requirements with new and renewing customers, and offer solutions to help facilitate participation.
  • Build relationships with existing customers. Work with compensation survey team to ensure that we are engaged with our customers and meeting their needs.
  • Evaluate renewal opportunities and work closely with customers to renew subscription license. If appropriate, propose new or alternative solutions.
  • Update and maintain accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and market intelligence in Salesforce CRM.
  • Work with management and marketing team to identify and develop leads and strategic business opportunities.
  • Identify and refer opportunities for compensation consulting services to internal consulting group.
  • Continually stay informed of major news and trends in target markets, including key accounts, emerging companies, and competitors.
  • Travel not required for this inside sales position.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related degree.
  • Three plus years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience executing all stages of the sales process from qualifying leads to closing sales.
  • Relationship building and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business professionals and executives and gain their attention.
  • Strong persuasive verbal and written communication skills using English language.
  • Proficient with basic business statistics and data analysis.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Atlanta metro area.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience selling HR products and services.
  • Experience selling to companies in technology, engineering, life sciences, or healthcare verticals.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and Pardot.
